DivX announces Mobile Theater Certification Program for HQ video

The new certification supports DivX Home Theater resolution natively on cell phones with a TV-ut feature that can send playback to a TV or other media player. DivX claims users will be able to store up to 10 DVDs at Home Theater resolutions using the phone’s 8 GB internal storage card.
